About

Conflux Armory is the U.S. Importer for PSE Composites (Manufacturers of Carbon Fiber Stocks in Ireland); CA's goal is to establish and foster a dealer network here in the U.S., allowing gun-builders, shooting enthusiasts, and competitive shooters access to the very best carbon fiber stocks on the market today.  From the small gunsmithing shop, to the large OEM Accounts, I'll make sure the dealer and end-user are completely satisfied.  Conflux carries a variety of products to support PSE Composites Stocks, helping ensure you don't waste time & money looking for components that "work." Hawkins Precision is one of the names we have come to rely on, and the PSE Stocks for REM700 hitting the U.S. market are specifically made to to accept Hawkins M5 Bottom Metal.

Conflux Armory is owned and operated by one person, Joe Hein.  I started shooting competitively as a kid in Michigan, participating in 4H, NRA and USA Shooting Competitions.  I earned a slot on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Rifle team in 2001, which fueled my competitive career.  From UAF, I moved to Colorado Springs, Co. and became a Resident Athlete for shooting at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.  It was during my time as a Resident Athlete, that I learned a lot about gunsmithing, while working for Neal Johnson's Gunsmithing Inc.. I entered the Army in 2008, and headed off to Fort Benning, GA. for basic training and AIT, followed by another six years at the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit as a Shooter/ Instructor in the International Rifle Section.  I've shot competitively in 15 different Countries, and have been fortunate enough to earn medals in 6, with a hand full of National Championships and National Records along the way.

I deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit as a mentor to ANA Soldiers/ Instructors.

In 2015 I decided to separate from the Army, and pursue working for myself; I moved with my family to Stevensville, MT., and started Elite Shooting Sports. The Goal with ESS was simple: Become the best Olympic Airgun Service Center in the United States, and support Juniors, NCAA Athletes and U.S. National Team Members in pursuit of their goals. Numerous International medal were won with guns I serviced, to include 2 x Olympic Gold, 1 x Olympic Silver, and 1 x Paralympic Bronze, along with a few world cups.  Having accomplished my goals, both as a competitor and as a gunsmith, I decided it was time to step away form the Olympic disciplines, selling ESS and starting Conflux Armory.
